I am on sabbatical from teaching art at a small college and recently went back to school for a second ******s degree, this time an MFA in New Media. I love challenges and intellectual pursuits, and good conversation. I am a thinker, an observer, a good listener, but also speak my mind, am fascinated by the minutiae that surrounds us in nature and the power of a simple gesture of kindness. I close my eyes when I listen to jazz, and Mozart and sing along with the Beatles, Aretha, John Mathews, and Willy Nelson. I'm an NPR junky, read everything and listen to books on tape while at the "Y." I am devoted to yoga, swim when I can, and love to walk and go on not too strenuous hikes. I adore my kids who are grown and amazing people! They both give me hope for the world.
