Trying to be more active following within limits of old age knee problems. Love animals, trying new recipes and helping others through volunteer work. Doberman Pinscher rescue addict (completely committed!)
No kids. College educated. Financially stable. No Trumpers, Bible Thumpers, nor smokers or tokers on my radar. Thrilled with travel, weekend roadtrips, thrift stores, farmers markets, local events or festivals. Hunting, camping, motorcyles, fishing and water actvities are not my preferred wheelhouse, but you can do those things solo.
My interest is peaked by someone's humor, heart (empathy) and their intellectual curiosity. Prefer a partner who is both old-fashioned and new fangled. Wealth, big words and fancy cars don't carry much weight in my book.
I recently heard that you need to find the lifestyle that you like versus the person that you like. I think that at my age (62) that's probably right on target. I don't expect for anyone to perfectly align with my values and expectations but I don't want someone who can't communicate in a mature manner and openly discuss differences.
