Me describiría a mi mismo como

I am outgoing, fun, good listener and good friend. I look at the glass as half full rather than half empty but for me life is not complete anymore without someone to share it with. Its been awhile and now I am ready to finally want to meet someone to spend time with. I enjoy (like most) dining out, seeing a good movie, dancing, going out in NYC for a stroll along the streets, seeing a good show, hanging out on the beach in the summer, taking long car rides or a weekend away and even just plain old hanging out at home having a barbeque or watching television or puttering around the house. I have 2 grown children now and they have their lives to lead as I continue to watch them thrive and grow in their careers. Seeing them prosper despite the loss of their father has given me strength. I am able to stand on my own two feet and take on a great deal of things that I thought I could never be able to do.

Let me add that I am a Speech Therapist for 31 years and work for a school for special children on Long Island. It is very rewarding and satisfying to say the least to be able to help a child who is not able to speak. I go home at the end of the day and feel that I have may a change in someone's life and I am forever being thanked for all I do to help be the parents of the children on my caseload.
